Sound Mental Health is a large community mental health agency and some staff and systems are less LGBTQ-knowledgeable, but there are also staff who specialize in working with LGBTQ folks (including clinicians of color if working with a QTPOC therapist is a priority for you). Sound Mental Health does not have a policy about accessing gender affirming healthcare, so I use an informed consent model (this may vary with other providers). Sound Mental Health also offers psychiatric prescribing services. The program I work in serves folks who are age 18-62. Contact admissions for insurance coverage details at (206) 302-2300.
