What else do you want potential patients to know about you or your clinic?
I work with children, adolescents, and adults. When working with clients, I am sensitive to how oppression impacts mental health and hinders our ability to find our place in the world. Some issues we can explore together include: LGBTQ issues, traumatic experiences, coming out, family of origin, depression, anxiety, and building shame resilience. I provide affirmative counseling for trans* and gender queer clients. I believe that therapy should be a choice and I do not view gender dysphoria as a mental health issue. I help explore how rigid gender roles negatively impact us all.
