Values

What does your clinic do to make the space welcoming and inclusive for LGBQ-identified patients?

In addition to a welcoming website, brochures and business cards from LGBTQ organizations are obvious in my waiting room.

What does your clinic do to make the space welcoming and inclusive for trans- and genderqueer-identified patients?

See above.

Please describe the ways in which you are involved in LGBTQ community outside of your practice (ex: Do you attend conferences on working with LGBTQ clients? Are you involved in local organizations that serve these communities? etc).

I have been a social justice activist and advocate in the LGBTQ community for several decades through a variety of organizations. Most recently, I was a founding member and cofacilitator of the Ingersoll Gender Center Mental Health and Medical Providers consult group, a group formed to strengthen the quality of care for trans* individuals in the Northwest.

What else do you want potential patients to know about you or your clinic?

I provide services to adults 21 and over, as well as couples, of all genders. I am a geriatric mental health specialist, and welcome older adults into my practice. I also accept several EAPs.
